HUMAHUACA GORGE : LANDSCAPE AND HISTORY

The Humahuaca Gorge , located in the central area of the province has been declared Cultural and Natural Patrimony of the Humanity. It is the scene of a very typical way of life, shown in peoples traditions and relation with the soil, about which there is abundant archaeological, technological and landscape remainig evidences .This circuit is a picture of color and beauty that surprises the traveler and offers a succession of small villages and plenty of history and ancient traditions.

PUNA : SILENCE AND LONELINESS
